Measured at the Zollfeld

We took part in a survey of a Roman excavation at Zollfeld!

The Zollfeld is a large plain in the south of Austria and is located north of Klagenfurt and south of St.Veit an der Glan. Exactly between Klagenfurt and St.Veit 😉

It is about 25 minutes by car from our LD2 headquarters and is home to one of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in Carinthia.

There are different excavation cities in the Zollfeld, including that Virunum, a Roman city in the Roman Province Noricum.

Correctly recognized: Our LD2 versions for the GIS were called Virunum and Noricum 😉

We were measured at the Zollfeld.

We have end of August in the amphitheater of Virunum our LD2 surveying solution calibrated and were present at a new excavation apart from the official excavations for a few points with ours Stonex S900A to measure.

The S900A was initialized extremely quickly and ensured stable RTK quality even with trees.
